Summer Cocktails

Hi everyone!
I hope you are enjoying the start to summer!
I have always wanted to try "cocktail inspired" nails, but have never quite figured out how to do it.  This isn't exactly what I had in mind, but I'm enjoying this combination.

For this mani, I started with a base of Maybelline Color Show Orange FX.  I made a gradient including Sally Hansen Insta Dri Man-Go Team and Sally Hansen Insta Dri Lickety Split Lime.  To give it a fizzy, cocktail look, I stamped it with NYC French White Tip using a design from the Cheeky Summer Holiday Jumbo Plate.  I haven't done a three color gradient in a long while, but I really love the look.

Hope you are having fun and staying cool and refreshed, Konaddicts!

Bundle Monster Creative Art Polish Review

Hello, Konaddicts!
I couldn't wait for my new Bundle Monster Creative Art Polishes to arrive!  Each set of six was $9, so I ordered both sets as soon as I got announcing their release on Monday.  I received my polishes today and I  had to try them out.

Here are the colors in each set.  They're identified by numbers on the bottles rather than names.

I had very high hopes and high expectations since Bundle Monster knows what nail art folks want in a stamping polish.  They didn't seem very viscous, so that seemed suspicious, as that usually adds to the opaqueness of the stamped image, but I was still excited to give it a try.

I started by stamping over white.  Here are the results:

Well - that's disappointingly average.

And then I tried the polishes over black, and that's when the disappointment really set in.

Wait...what?  That's terrible!

Well, here's a close up and with better lighting.

Oh, that's bad.
And I had high hopes for a good yellow stamping polish.

So, to sum it all up - and to provide a bit of contrast - I pulled out my wonderful bright yellow stamping polish from My Online Shop's Facebook Store to give my overall impression:

Well, thankfully, I didn't spend much on these.  Since I think they can also be used as regular polish, maybe I'll find a use for them.  Or...maybe my great niece will be getting a few bottles for her toe nails.

I just had to commiserate, Konaddicts.  I love Bundle Monster - and these polishes might be fine for regular wear - but they're certainly not all that useful for stamping.

Pashmina

Hi everyone!
Today's mani was inspired by my favorite pashmina scarf.  I started with a simple blue - Sally Hansen Insta Dri In Prompt Blue.  I added a little glitter - though it's hard to see - with Vivid Lacquer Late Bloomer.  I used a design from Cici & Sisi 03 and China Glaze Passion for the stamping.

It makes me feel very elegant!

Have you all seen the new Bundle Monster Art Polishes?  I've already ordered a few, so I'll be sure to give you skinny on them!

Thanks for reading, Konaddicts!  I hope you're having a wonderful week!
